Join me on an adventure to reach the summit of Snowdon, the highest mountain in England and Wales. There are a number of routes up to the summit which reaches 1085 metres above sea level. Each route takes you on a scenic adventure to the top with views that will take your breath away! Did you know that Snowdon is actually an extinct volcano?...

"Kelly guided myself and my 2 kids up Snowdon for a day. Communication was great beforehand and Kelly gave me loads of information to ensure we were prepared as well as answering a fair few questions.
We agreed a bespoke route up (easy Llanberris path) and then down the miners path around the lakes which we all went into, a great memory for all of us even though it was freezing! My kids were surprised how much they enjoyed the day considering hiking isn't something they would normally choose!
Kelly is a great guide, very knowledgeable and friendly."

Snowdon Summit days are perfect for anyone with average fitness and ability, so don't worry the pace and route is tailored around all the members of the group on the day. There are a number of routes and circular walk choices on Snowdon, Llanberis path is the easier of ascents, recommended for beginners and ideal for people with small children. This adventure is for the Llanberis path, please see my events or get in contact for another route choice.

Snowdon or yr Wyddfa, its Welsh name, is steeped in history and you can discover and explore with like minded people and your own experienced leader safely if you book onto one of my Summit days.
My Snowdon Summit Adventure really is a great introduction to the mountains...
On the day we will meet at the arranged location the village of Llanberis where there is plenty of shops and amenities, after a quick kit check we will start our ascent and will soon be rewarded with views across to neighbouring summits like Moel Elio.
We will pass the half-way house where you can pop in for an ice-cream, pause for photos at Clogwyn Station, then make our last slightly steeper ascent to the top of the mountain where you will be able to get your summit selfie.

Our ascent is along the same path where we will take in views of the lake and the famous Clogwyn ar Ddu, the birthplace of Welsh rock climbing and finally back into the village for a well earned rest and even a pint of Snowdon larger in the stunning Victorian hotel grounds.
