About the event
Meet for coffee, chat some maps, and then head out for a few legs along the beautiful lowland paths around Capel Curig and the famous Snowdonia Slate trial.
Learn how to set a map, interpret symbols, grid lines and general 'head in map' skills. Come and get geeky with me.
Become more confident with choosing walking routes and being able to explore in a stress free manner with my intro to navigation day.
We will explore really basic aspects of map and touch on some compass navigation. Compass naviagtion is a little more complex and can be covered in more detail if you join the following weeks workshop. This day is at your own leisure and you learn at your own individual level, all skills will be geared towards each person.
