My first ever guided walk to the summit of Yr Wyddfa!


Celebrate St Davids day with me for a mountain hike to the iconic highest point in Wales. Dress up in your finest Welsh themed attire! Dragons most welcome! Hear all about the myths and legends, Giants, fairies and creatures of all shapes and sizes have inhabited this land for as long as humans.


Yr Wyddfa—Rhita's grave


Yr Wyddfa's name likely comes from the word 'Gwyddfa', another word for 'grave' or 'burial-ground'. The summit of Yr Wyddfa is said to be where the medieval Welsh king Rhita Gawr was buried after a fierce battle with King Arthur.
